Shimon bar Yochai[edit]

There is a Wikipedia article on Shimon bar Yochai, understood to be the same person as the one entered here.

This article on The Secrets of Rabbi Simon ben Yohai seems to be a writing on a particular subject that would link Islam and the Rabbi, in the sense that the Rabbi is seen predicting its coming, in a prophetic sense. Ricgal (talk) 18:41, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Date[edit]

I read this text and dated it to 8th or 7th century...however the Arab King who has rebuilded the temple isn't al Walid but Umar this explaination can give us the real date as 7th century not 8th century see for example book: Apocalypse and Empire chapter 5 when the author mentioned many other apocalyptic texts which mentioning the rebuilding of temple by Muawayiah or Abdul Malik or others so we can say that this king is also Umar the first to rebuild the temple 178.52.168.238 (talk) 10:51, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
