Withdrawal from Market[edit]
In 2018, Misadventures of the Dunderheads was withdrawn from the VOD market when the producer, Bruce Stubblefield regained all the world-wide distribution rights to the film. The director, Deborah Brock, re-examined the original film daiies from shooting and using them re-edited the film with editor, Matt Dean, into a "Director's Version" approved by Stubblefield and Brock. The audio was also re-edited and re-mixed to match the new version at Monkeyland Audio in Burbank, California and the new version was copyrighted as "Montana Amazon Redux" 2023.
