Stan "Red" Lambert[edit]

For anyone who's interested I have a little more information about Stan as he was my wife's cousin - although nothing verifiable that I could add to the article. After the group split up Stan worked at Ivor Mairants Music Centre in Rathbone Place, London. He also played in pubs and clubs in the evening - when we visited he was playing at The Blind Beggar in Whitechapel - famous as the pub where in 1966, Ronnie Kray shot and murdered George Cornell. In later life he emigrated to Australia with his family, where he died about 5 years ago. Richerman (talk) 21:29, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

My uncle David ( band name David Kent - real name David Thacker) joined the Magil 5 after their hit Mockingbird hill and remembers all the band well. He feels he might be the only one alive as he’s 93. He continued his career in singing and as a drummer in bands and was resident band at the Cafe de Paris for over 10 years . His life in music has been written in his memoirs he compiled many years ago Joshere1 (talk) 17:31, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
