Incomplete[edit]

Just pointing out that the article as I've left it is probably incomplete. I have not read Baker's book, not even all the parts of it available through Google Books Preview. Reading it thoroughly will probably find more content for the article, or clarifications and modifications. Shreevatsa (talk) 15:22, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No doubt there is more to say, but this is a fine addition to Wikipedia nonetheless. - Tim riley (talk) 19:19, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Glad you think so; thanks! Shreevatsa (talk) 23:01, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Ribbon" or "riband"?[edit]

I don't know why "ribbon" has been printed. Apart from being what Browning wrote, "riband" is superior in making the sound an echo to the sense. The extra dental consonant adds to the tone of bitter exasperation. Another triumph for Dulness. I suggest it be changed. Seadowns (talk) 23:12, 16 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
