@GimmeChoco44: why did you remove sourced information about S.K.I.N. from the article? I am not asking about the spinoff note in the infobox. If you wish, agree to be removed, although technically it is a spinoff. Miki Filigranski (talk) 10:04, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Trivial information about members' past projects not essential to this article. See: Wikipedia:NOTEVERYTHING
If you can find a quote from the members identifying this group as a connected entity, that would be a good place to start. Just because a website recognizes the overlapping roster of members, it still doesn't satisfy the criteria of being an essential fact.
A more substantial connection would have to be established. GimmeChoco44 (talk) 02:19, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A reliable source - and rock music magazine at that - mentioned the past ([1], also another specialized on J-rock/Visual kei scene [2]). The band performed a song of the previous supergroup. Whether something is trivial or essential fact depends on WP:WEIGHT which depends on WP:VERIFY of WP:RELIABLE. We have that. The previous supergroup deserves at least mention in a "See also" section.--Miki Filigranski (talk) 06:51, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yoshiki in interview with Rolling Stone Japan (20.11.2023) transl. (1) "I used to form a band with MIYAVI called S.K.I.N., but when we decided to do it again, I thought that the times were changing" (2) "We used to play "Beneath The Skin" when we formed S.K.I.N. a long time ago, and SUGIZO composed the song and I wrote the lyrics, so in a sense it's like the prototype of this band, so I thought it should be included" (journalist referred to "Beneath The Skin" as X Japan's song yet Yoshiki corrected and elaborated further) - case closed, Skin goes to the article's main body.--Miki Filigranski (talk) 04:45, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
