The Itch was also an illness historically (reported in Italy and England during the 18th-19th centuries), that consisted of breaking out in pustules around the fingers and joints and thought to lead to scabies and leprosy according to "Surgery, skin and syphilis: Daniel Turner's London (1667-1741)".Elijahmeeks (talk) 18:44, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
