Roughly from 2006 to 2009, a great deal of in-fighting went on between various Holocaust writers associated with the ARC and the H.E.A.R.T web portals, with accusations of forgeries, impersonations, bigotry, falsifications, egotism, and even homophobia among other things. We use these portals as references routinely (including in this article). You can read about what went on behind the scenes at the holocaustcontroversies.blogspot.ca entries going back to 2006 or perhaps, use the Google search for more background at your own discretion. I think requesting additional confirmations of facts whenever linking to these portals would probably be wiser because of that, and also, for the benefit of our readers.
