Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because no credible argument for deletion has been presented. The nominator has been going around on a spree today adding all sorts of tags and performing draftications, mostly without any justification whatsoever. This should be taken to AFD if there are doubts about notability, etc. CSD is the wrong solution here: I will have no problem if it goes to AFD and is deleted by consensus, as is would be proper. --No Great Shaker (talk) 23:01, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it was a national chain of UK stores. When Phones4U was sold to private equity firms, The Discovery Store was one of the major selling points which included the buying the brand. It was a national chain of stores which rivalled the Gadget Shop. It deserves a place on Wikipedia. Perhaps the article needs to reflect the dominance on the UK market and its importance in the Caudwell Group? This is definitely the wrong decision to delete it. --Icaldonta (talk) 16:09, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
