Killer Clowns from Outer Space[edit]

Their song Killer Klowns from Outer Space contains the line "...with cotton candy in his hand, says the polka dotted man with a stalk of jacaranda,". How is jacaranda associated with clowns, killer or otherwise?

So that's what that word is! Do a quick Google search "jacaranda clown" and you'll see a few relevant links. It looks like one of the bigger clown colleges or the like is called Jacaranda. I also gather that jacaranda plays a role in the actual movie, though it's been 15+ years since I saw the movie so I don't specifically remember. (P.S. Please remember to sign your posts with four tildes.) Newyorkbrad 22:14, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I had actually Googled that myself and turned up nothing, but that was waaay before Wik and the like. The lyrics of that single line appear in the original music video, complete with bouncing ball! Here it is on YouTube (if that's an appropriate thing to post here); http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=su8gJ1IXOac Paul. Hawaii 5:21, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Enoch Hain "One Time" Guitarist?[edit]

I think calling Enoch a "one-time" guitarist , feels a bit like a put down. He's on two albums, "2nd Coming" & "Idjit Savant" , and an e.p.,"Killer Klowns". He toured with them for several years, and besides guitar and vocals , he is credited with co-writing a few songs as well. By those parameters , he contributed just as much to the band as Karlos Kaballero & Billy Club. ( Short of being an original member.). There's got to be a better terminology. 75.104.164.93 (talk) 16:19, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, using the info you provided, made an appropriate edit addressing the concern. Um, why didn’t you just edit the main page? It was a minor, uncontroversial edit, and required less typing than your post here. Happy to do it for you though. Keithramone33 (talk) 13:58, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Future concerts[edit]

See notes in "view history" regarding the 2 notable (IMO) upcoming package concerts the Dickies will be taking part in. One is supported in the article with a reference that does not have as its primary purpose promoting the event (Brooklyn Vegan aggregates information about music news and events), and the other DOES, it's a contest to win tickets, but the contest is over. I will replace it with a better source when possible (the show will be written up by local sources), but the article feels incomplete without this... and if you look at the history of the article, I have been taking pains to make it complete over the last few weeks.Keithramone33 (talk) 03:16, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
