The Flaming Lips and Stardeath and White Dwarfs with Henry Rollins and Peaches Doing The Dark Side of the MoonThe Dark Side of the Moon (The Flaming Lips and Stardeath and White Dwarfs album)Secondary sources simply call the album "The Dark Side of the Moon". Furthermore, new name will be WP:CONCISE (on running text, not on title). © Tbhotch (en-2.5). 01:28, 26 January 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. KCVelaga (talk) 06:35, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Move to The Dark Side of the Moon (2009 album) per WP:ALBUMDAB: if an album was released by several people, and it may compromise readability, use another shorter method of disambiguation. -- Netoholic @ 08:05, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to The Dark Side of the Moon (2009 album) per Netoholic. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 09:36, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to "The Dark Side of the Moon (2009 album)" per obvious WP:COMMONSENSE. Never follow a "rule" (like an over-broad assumption about how we "must" disambiguate) to the point of unworkable results like titles too long for anyone to type, remember, or have the patience to read (cf. also WP:NOT#BUREAUCRACY, WP:IAR, WP:SPITE, etc.). In this case, WP:ALBUMDAB actually provides an alternative "escape valve" rule anyway, but we do not actually need it, just common sense, to arrive at this shorter, usable result.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  02:13, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Dark Side of the Moon (2009 album)The Dark Side of the Moon (The Flaming Lips album)WP:NCMUSIC, we disambiguate by band name, not year. In ictu oculi (talk) 12:45, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry Lugnuts, how exactly? It's reducing The Dark Side of the Moon (The Flaming Lips and Stardeath and White Dwarfs album) to the main artist. The above move was avoiding a title purely for length. Why? In ictu oculi (talk) 08:46, 21 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose as ncmusic does say "Consider that titles should be concise enough and should not be "longer than necessary to identify the article's subject and distinguish it from other subjects", so if an album was released by several people, and it may compromise readability, use another shorter method of disambiguation."
