TikTok[edit]

Sony has just launched a TikTok account (found here). I've added it to the "External links" section, but I'm not sure whether we should count this as part of the web series itself. Thoughts? InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:47, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, it seems that ".net" has been dropped from their name and logo? InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:50, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Page name (and formatting in article)[edit]

With No Way Home, the "site" becomes a legitimate news source and no longer is TheDailyBugle.net, but just The Daily Bugle. Knowing this, should the article be adjusted at all? We should, however, make changes to the "season 2" content to not have it be ".net", and maybe find a source to back this up. Also would an acceptable logo be the old .net one, or the new one? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 19:56, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that this page (and others) should drop the .net. If this changes is implemented, the Twitter logo seems like our best option. I did bring this up two months ago in the thread above, but nobody responded. InfiniteNexus (talk) 20:48, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If we move it, it should be to The Daily Bugle (web series), right? Sorry about missing your original question on it! - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:16, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That seems logical. Also, no apologies needed! InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:11, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, @Favre1fan93, are we moving this page or what? InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:47, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry InfiniteNexus, been off for a bit and I've also fallen off following what's been happening with this especially with it resurfacing for Morbius. If everything we discussed months ago still holds true, then let's move. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:44, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Adamstom.97 and SirDot:, do you think we should move this page to The Daily Bugle (web series)? InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:09, 7 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@InfiniteNexus: Most certainly. The only ".net" videos are the FFH YT "episodes" (I mean, the TikTok account name is "thedailybugleofficial" with no ".net", YT's channel is only The Daily Bugle too). Support. – SirDot (talk) 00:19, 7 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, sounds like we should go ahead and make the move. - adamstom97 (talk) 10:56, 7 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

 Done - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:00, 7 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Morbius / SSU[edit]

Apparently, the web series is for both the MCU and the SSU movies. Daily Bugle TikTok account posted a in-universe video for Morbius, similar to those No Way Home videos, but with a different logo for the news outlet. YgorD3 (talk) 10:24, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:06, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't go straight to calling them the same series, they're just using the same account for a different marketing campaign. InfiniteNexus (talk) 18:08, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If it is being run by Sony's marketing team then that would make sense, the MCU/SSU difference would be less relevant than the fact that they are both Sony films. - adamstom97 (talk) 03:03, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
So The Daily Bugle is a newspaper and TikTok account/conspiracy website in the SSU? – SirDot (talk) 16:47, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. The YouTube videos are back (1, 2) but the Morbius TikTok videos still exist. That's weird. Oh, and the website is back up. – SirDot (talk) 14:06, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Including videoless articles?[edit]

Not all of the articles from the Far From Home campaign recieved videos. Since they're technically part of this web series, should they be in this article? Here are they, including the ones that had videos:

  • The True Hero (Spider-Man Is A Menace!)
  • Night Monkey: Foreign Hero Or Yet Another Masked Menace?
  • The Search For Morris Bench!
  • Spider-Man Fires First Shot At Mob War!
  • Raid At Area Fifty-Fail (must've happened in 2024 in the MCU then)
  • Shocking Video Raises Dark Questions About London Attack! (Footage From Tower Bridge Attack)
  • A Follow-Up With High School Influencer ”Flash” On London Attack
  • The Queen Asks: Wither Mysterio? (this one didn't age well...)
  • A True Hero: The Magnificent Mysterio (Mysterio Final Moments)
  • Bombshell Exclusive: Spider-Man Unmasked! (Spider-Man Unmasked)
  • Coney Island To Spider-Man: Bug Off, Webhead! (Coney Island Reopened)
  • Don't Be Fooled
  • Prime Minister to President: Pay Up! (London Attack — Tower Bridge Bill Blues)
  • Holiday Closure & Website Maintenance (no longer on website but definitely canon)

Any thoughts? — SirDot (talk) 14:45, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

We can briefly mention them under § Supplemental material, but we don't need anything more than that. InfiniteNexus (talk) 15:24, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@InfiniteNexus: Makes sense, but the source should be just cited to the website itself (and maybe an archive for that website closure article). — SirDot (talk) 15:44, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Animated or Live action[edit]

Shouldn't this article mention which it is? Rwflammang (talk) 01:25, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not really. That would be unnecessary. — SirDot (talk) 01:52, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
