Film Appearance[edit]

Should we note that the band had a brief apperance in the film Coyote Ugly? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Meklin (talkcontribs) 13:26, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think that we should. Ω Anonymous anonymous Ψ: ''Have A Nice Day'' 22:32, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't This Song Have Its Own Page Already?[edit]

Now, I don't know this band too well, but:

2002 "Wherever You Will Go" (Camino Palmero) Top Chart Posistions (USA)#5, (AUS)#5, (UK) #3, and (ITA) #1

Given they reached that high in all of those different countries (though granted, which charts they were isn't listed), why hasn't there been an article written on the song yet? Or at least the CD? I would assume there's a background on the writing of it (although I could very well be wrong) given in some interview of its success. Or at least some interpretation or reason for it being written. The entire trivia section is on the song, so obviously there is something to be said about it. (Looking for "Wherever You Will Go" was how I ended up on this page, which is why I'm asking about it here, so if I'm being ignorant about something well-known about the song or the band, forgive me) I know the answer I'm going to get is probably going to be "You should write it yourself then!" but the main reason I'm not is because I really don't know that much about even the band, much less the song. So if someone who is more knowledgable (and happens to be bored or the time to research it) could write the article, there is an interest! Irish Pearl 22:03, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Why Don't You & I"[edit]

The song "Why Don't You & I" isn't performed by Alex Band (with Santana) but by Chad Kroeger (with Santana) of the band Nickelback. I edited it.

Genre discussion[edit]

Ok wikiscribe you and me clearly disagree on the calling's genres maybe from now on a genre should only be added if a reference is provided?--Brickovic (talk) 18:25, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit[edit]

Hi All,

I recently re-did the singles listing for the band. I merged the album listings from many rows to one to cut down on redundancy. Since The Calling's catalogue is smaller compared to say, Elton John, I did a source audit (using Billboard's database and EveryHit.com for the UK hits, which all checked out) on each position. A search of the band's history on the Modern Rock charts shows that only "Wherever You Will Go" charted. I have added the Hot Adult Top 40 chart since all of the songs on the list charted there except for two. I have also split "Wherever You Will Go" into separate 2001 and 2002 rows since the song peaked on the Adult Top 40 and Rock charts in '01 but peaked on the Hot 100 in '02.

I hope this is good. - Thanks, Hoshie 23:43, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Calling clothes are like Bon Jovi and Glam Metal?[edit]

I am sorry but The Calling music is not influenced by Bon Jovi and they do not dress Glam Metalish. They are Post-grunge with a huge Pearl Jam Seattle Grunge influenced. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thecallinggrunge (talkcontribs) 22:08, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
