Fair use rationale for Image:Rat a tat.JPG[edit]

Image:Rat a tat.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Erroneous inclusion amongst German titles.[edit]

I'm referring to this passage in the article:

Rätsel um den tiefen Keller ("Riddle of the Deep Cellar"). This is a translation of the one-off book, The Mystery That Never Was

The Mystery That Never Was is not a Barney mystery. I haven't seen the German translation, but it looks as if it might be a translation of an adaption (in English) of the original novel into one of the "Riddles" series, in which 6 non-series Blyton books were reworked (but the plots otherwise left much the same) into a series with common characters - this book being adapted into The Riddle That Never Was. But Barney and his friends are not amongst these characters. The Mystery That Never Was and The Riddle That Never Was feature a cellar deep underground in their plot - so the German book appears very probably to be a translation of the latter, which fits in with the German title referring to "Keller".

So I believe the passage quoted above should be removed from the article, unless someone can show that the German version has been adapted to include Barney and his friends (something I've never heard of, and which would surprise me greatly). But that removal will require reorganizing of other parts of the article. I'm thinking about how this might be done, and may return to this later. M.J.E. (talk) 15:01, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
