Since when is the basic rhythm of swing dance an 8-count rhythm? Much is 6-count. 12.109.151.100 (talk) 19:51, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lindy Hop is a fundamental, early form of swing, and is generally 8-count, as are various other forms of swing dance. East Coast Swing and various others are generally 6-count. ★NealMcB★ (talk) 17:23, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
