Mobile phones and number of digits[edit]

I can't find any references for this, but I am currently doing a lot of data entry for Kenya and I'm finding that:

landlines have a 2-digit area code and a 7-digit phone number
mobile phones have a 3-digit area code beginning with 7 (721, 722, 735, etc) and have a 6-digit phone number
