Needs rewriting or deletion[edit]

Utter lack of quality,unsourced claims,debatable neutrality makes it unworthy for wikipedia.Each side is trying to get its point through without being credible enough.Since wikipedia is not for staging disputes but an encyclopedia ...this article is not worthy of an encyclopedic content considering boisterous un-cited claims being made throughout...

eg: no citations : 1." Tamil Nadu government had increased its withdrawal from the reservoir, with additional

                       facilities to cater to the increased demand from newly irrigated areas."
                  2." ...scientists to say the dam could not withstand more-intensive tremors"

                  3."Thousands of people of Kerala have formed a 208 km human wall in a following day[citation needed] to demand a replacement to the dam although Tamil Nadu insists it is safe and that water levels can be raised "

                   4."For Tamil Nadu, Mullaperiyar dam and the diverted Periyar waters act is a source for Theni, Madurai, Sivaganga and Ramnad Districts, providing water for irrigation, drinking and also for generation of power in Lower Periyar Power Station"

these are some of the examples.....but the entire article is full of such uncited claims
