Merge suggestion[edit]

@JDDJS: I boldly merged this article into PvP and JDDJS reverted me, so I figured I'd open a discussion forum for it here. This article is currently using only one reliable secondary source, which is the Fleen article mentioning that this webcomic was nominated for a Harvey Award. Everything else on this page (which is practically just a list of characters) is sourced to the primary source, so that is basically original research. There is at least one more source available to use (the Comics Beat article linked above), but I did not put effort into using it in the merger yet. PvP currently has one short paragraph dedicated to Table Titans, and though that can be improved I think it's practically enough. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this :) ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 18:37, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not against a merge, but I think whatever article it's merged to needs to have a whole section dedicated to it to include the basic premise of it, who else works on it and one sentence character descriptions.
I could also see Scott Kurtz being a better target. JDDJS (talk to mesee what I've done) 20:21, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I think as a spin-off of PvP, that would be a better target, but I'm fine with Scott Kurtz as the target too. Either way, the current article doesn't even have a section with a basic premise description, nor does the current article list anyone who has worked on the webcomic alongside Kurtz. I suppose I'll expand that one paragraph in PvP to contain more information about Table Titans, though. ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 08:36, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
How do you feel about redirecting this article now that PvP contains more cited information on Table Titans than this article does? ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 08:49, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I support continuing to have an article on Table Titans. I consider that it is notable as it has coverage multiple independent sources:
The article does need upgrading (like how almost none of those sources are used in the current article), but the subject itself, in my opinion, is notable and should not be removed, even is some of the subject matter is moved to PvP or Scott Kurtz. I agree that the article meets notability criteria, and I'm really happy to see the direction this article is taking with your edits. A merge definitely no longer seems necessary, it works as a stand-alone article now. Nice work :) ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 10:09, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Maplestrip/Mable, I'm really pleased you think it's looking better! HenryCrun15 (talk) 20:22, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
