Some people say we need to merge withTIE fighter.

• Oppose: TIE fighter is big enough already. I propose the vast majority of the material about the varients in the TIE Fighter article is moved to the pages for each of the varients, that way the TIE fighter article is reduced to a good size, and each of the other pages forms a valuable article in its own right. Well, you also want to be careful that you don't create 3-4 sentence articles on the very minor TIEs. I do agree with a one-two sentence explanation of the TIE variants on the TIE page, and if there's enough information, a link to their respective articles. Another option is to put all minor TIE varients into a list, per WP:FICT guidelines. Deckiller 19:20, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
