The page[edit]

The page is under construction and more reliable sources will be added. It is just a matter of time so I do request to not delete the page, we added a source to Aljazeera blog website, which should be a very reliable source considering most of the materials are actually shown on live TV transmission, by Aljazeera, CNN and France24. It will take a little time to find all the resources but soon will get more.

More sources are really needed; see WP:RS if you need to know what counts as reliable. Particularly, third party coverage is needed, *describing* the organization, in order to have enough content for an encyclopedia article about it. Jodi.a.schneider (talk) 18:25, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is the name actually Syrian Free Press?[edit]

If the name is actually Syrian Free Press, we can rename this article. Jodi.a.schneider (talk) 18:24, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

An image used in this article, File:Syrian Free Press.png, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request
