Aaron Copeland's Symphony No.3 was performed on grand opening night, January 26, 2011, by the New World Symphony at New World Center in Miami. The New World Center is the design of Architect Frank Gehry. The conductor was Michael Tilson Thomas. The New World Symphony is America's orchestral academy where less than 3 per cent of of the student applicants are given three year fellowships. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rikwrybac (talkcontribs) 02:11, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral?[edit]

There are words and phrases sprinkled through this article that don't seem neutral or verifiable, such as "we are quickly snapped out of the reverie", "dashing, boisterous", "glory", "dazzling", "The overall tone of the work is one of heroism and dignity, and it leaves an appropriately stirring impression". Much of it reads more like a musical review (which is nice) than an encyclopedia entry (which it's supposed to be). Nasch (talk) 20:02, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Discography[edit]

Is the discography section intended to be exhaustive? If so, there is a new superaudio recording released 10-02-2015 on Pentatone with Carlos Kalmar and the Oregon Symphony — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.63.232.6 (talk) 22:55, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A few days ago I decided to organize the discography section to make it more useful. It is now a chronological table. It is meant to be complete, so if I missed an officially released recording, please add it! DiscoStu1987 (talk) 12:44, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
