Trio[edit]

The trio is interesting. HCRL^[1] notes that it:

"is like a lost Balkan tune sounding from far across the puszta; is is Gypsy music and has in it the dark feeling of eastern Europe. The German's instantly took a dislike to it."

I don't know to incorporate this particular HCRL quote at this time because he doesn't use any definites in his description. Listening to my recording, it does sound like that. Minor key. Chamber music like, dissonant-folksy harmonies. Maybe another musicologist describes this trio in a more citable manner. DavidRF (talk) 01:01, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
