List of ambassadors[edit]

This is only really appropriate for Embassy articles not bilateral relations articles. In fact, I've only seen these on embassy articles. If anything only notable (or current) ambassadors should be listed as per Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Lists_of_people). LibStar (talk) 04:02, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is no requirement to this list into a separate articles or even a separate list. Lists are an important feature of wikipedia.

Besides, you don't explain how it would fail WP:NOTDIR as you noted in your deletion summary. -- User:Docu

Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Lists_of_people) is a more appropriate guideline for this. I really don't see how listing ambassadors adds value to a bilateral relations article. You have not demonstrated this. LibStar (talk) 04:11, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The list is germane to the topic. If it's not in there or listed there, it's an omission. Limiting these lists to donors of political parties, that would be inappropriate. -- User:Docu

As in every ambassador. It contains every ambassador since 1962. why since 1962 in any case? As I've stated previously I've only seen this in embassy articles, not any bilateral articles (and I've seen 100s of these articles). Yes, ambassador lists are usually separate: see Category:Lists of ambassadors for all that. Sometimes they're nice; other times they're silly redlink farms, but they're usually separate from the bilateral relations articles. - Biruitorul ^Talk 05:30, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

yes it's important (especially for admins) to assume good faith. I have made my position clear already, only current ambassadors should be included in this article. Switzerland of South America[edit]
