Untitled[edit]

This article could use an explanation of what is going on in swarming motility. Are bacteria cooperating to move as a unit, as, say, human cells do, or do they decide on a particular direction, and each individual cell makes its own way there? Biosurfactant, quorum sensing and swarming[edit]

Saying that "biosurfactant molecules are thought to act by lowering surface tension" is like saying that fat works by being oily. It's not an explanation. Sllot (talk) 20:55, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
