The person seems to pass WP:BIO, counting his poker playing as "competing at the highest level in amateur sports". I am removing the "importance" tag. If you disagree, please ad the "notability" tag to the article.

Notability could still be emphasized by citing his TV appearances more precisely (when, which channel, which show).
