Fair use rationale for Image:Svedka.jpg[edit]

Image:Svedka.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Relevancy[edit]

How much relevancy does Lindsay Lohan's one-time, failed selection of this product for a birthday really matter? I vote the section on her be removed from the article. Comments? Vayne (talk) 06:22, 29 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Sped-ka?"[edit]

Why would Svedka be pronounced "sped-ka"? That's not a Swedish pronunciation, I should know. Svedka would be pronounced Svedka in Swedish. There's no accent in Sweden where V's become P's. Update tag[edit]

I added the {{Update}} tag to the article, given the content of this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eFIaubn24E. The bottles no longer mention Sweden and states that Svedka is a US vodka. (The YouTube video also critizises the Wikipedia article for being bareboned compared to e.g. Smirnoff). I personally know (bad source, I know) people who work at the plant that used to bottle Svedka in Sweden. They no longer do. The "official" about page also says that it is made in the USA. Sertion (talk) 17:05, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
