Notability / existence as a field[edit]
I'm skeptical that this purported heterodox branch of economics actually exists as such. Is it just the brainchild of Henry George? Does anyone actually use the term "surplus economics"? These issues will have to be addressed eventually. -FrankTobia (talk) 00:32, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

This is definitely an alternative field of economics and 'Surplus Economics' is not to be confused with 'Economic Surplus' - hence it is not a duplication.
