Tidal-thermal instability model[edit]

- Superhumps are not the same thing as super-outbursts, although they are observed during super-outbursts. We could do with something more written about super-outbursts, somewhere. Superoutburst currently redirects here, which is a bit pointless because it neither says what they are or what causes them. Perhaps an article about SU Ursae Majoris stars, separate from dwarf nova, would be the place to describe both super-outbursts and superhumps. Lithopsian (talk) 14:46, 31 May 2022 (UTC)
