Removed the line: "Super R-Type was named the #4 2-D Shooter of all time form ScrewAttack.com"

Screwattack.com does not represent a credible source. Any two guys can start a website and publish top ten lists. As far as I can tell, this "honor" was based solely upon two people's opinion. This reward is nothing more than praise from an editorial piece from an editorial website.

Other publications (such as IGN and Electronic Gaming Monthly) have published lists of top games at different times--in the past. But, these lists were the product of multiple editors--working together--that write about games (for a living) in a legitimate journalistic setting. If you can find Super R-Type on a credible list of top games, go ahead and cite it.

The amount of possible top ten 2-D shooter lists is astounding--considering the amount of people in the world that have played games in the genre. I don't see what sets this one apart from the rest. 68.102.77.56 (talk) 17:44, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't the Japanese release date be listed before the North American one?[edit]

It says it was released in Japan in July 1991, and in North America in September 1991, so why is the North American one listed first? Geminin667 (talk) 05:26, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
