Is it maybe possible that the album title is a reference to the name of the recordstore in the Simpsons episode Homerpalooza? Jeridus 04:31, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Many people believe the song Dilated is about a heroin addict struggling with his addiction. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.129.178.27 (talk) 09:10, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This album is also deathcore too. Atreyu drew some elements from deathcore early on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.4.90.142 (talk) 06:43, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No no no. I don't know where most of you got the information, I have been listening to Atreyu for 8 years now, and this is the first time I ever heard of Atreyu being labeled as deathcore. First of all, you can't just add something without references okay. Second of all, you can't base a band's genre simply because of their lyrics. If anyone of you want to place them as deathcore, show some references. show an article that clearly states them as a deathcore band on this album. Otherwise, I will remove the deathcore tab everytime okay. Third of all, they have absolutely no death metal influences, which is one of the requirements of a deathcore band. http://www.discogs.com/Atreyu-Suicide-Notes-And-Butterfly-Kisses/release/1757806 This site labels this album as hardcore. Also, it is obvious that there are some elements from hardcore punk in this album (Snare-bass drum pattern, breakdowns just like those of hardcore punk bands). "Deanne the Arsonist" and "Tulips Are Better" are prime examples of the hardcore punk influence in this album. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.7.37.253 (talk) 21:42, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
