Separate articles?[edit]

Succasunna is not Kenvil and Kenvil is not Succasunna. I could understand if you included all of Roxbury by why just those two? They are very different from each other even with the close proximity. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.196.41.160 (talkcontribs)

I agree with you. Succasunna & Kenvil should have separate articles since they are separate places. The census bureau though unifies them as one "census-designated place". That means we have population statistics and maps for Succasunna-Kenvil, but not for them individually since each one is merely a mailing address without legal status. The local municipality is Roxbury Township, New Jersey. --D. Monack | talk 14:56, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Change to just "Succasunna"?[edit]

I've created a version of this page for just Succasunna. It includes the statistics for the Succasunna-Kenvil CDP but clarifies the difference. See it at User:D Monack/Succasunna. Unless there are objections, I'll make the change. --D. Monack | talk 22:07, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I object. The Census Bureau has defined Succasunna-Kenvil as a census-designated place and tracks data for the combined communities. I don't know of any way to separate the two based on what the Census Bureau is tracking. Simple removing the word "Kenvil" from the article does not make it just "Succasunna". I object. What do you propose to do with the Kenvil information? If you want a separate article for Succasunna, that is fine, but: 1) this article should be left intact to cover the CDP. 2) the Succasunna article must not include CDP-based population or statistical data. The result won't have much information left for the Succasunna article, and it may end up looking something like this: Murray Hill, New Jersey (for example). --ChrisRuvolo (t) 23:02, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
