Role in the Jack Benny-Fred Allen Radio Feud[edit]
Canin's played "The Bee" on Fred Allen's radio show in 1936. Afterwards, Allen made some jokes at Jack Benny's expense. Benny responded on his own radio show a few days later. That turned into the famous Jack Benny-Fred Allen radio "feud."
