– Sole Wikipedia entry entitled Steven Grossman, thus obviating the need for the qualifier "(musician)". Since the Steven Grossman disambiguation page lists two Steves and only one Steven, its main title header should be Steve Grossman. — Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 23:17, 25 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like the dab page is a little out of date. The wikipedia page for the politician was moved to "Steven Grossman (politician)" at some point, probably during his 2014 run for governor of Massachusetts. In that case, the dab should probably be updated to reflect the current page title.

Then there comes a question of whether the politician Steven Grossman is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC that comes to mind for people searching for the name "Steven Grossman", and should have his article come up without any parenthetical, with the musician receiving a hatnote of:

on the article.

Given how long the musician has been dead, that he was not especially prolific in his music releases, and the lack of media coverage -- and that the politician was the head of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, DNC, and AIPAC -- I tend to think that's the case. However, I don't feel super strongly about it, so if you want to keep the parentheticals on both and the dab page, that's fine by me.

We can probably also remove the parenthetical (saxophonist) from Steve Grossman.

Some disambiguation needed[edit]

I came to this page searching for information about the musician (guitarist) Stefan Grossman, who is still very much alive. Never heard of this "Steven Grossman" character before, but he looks interesting. Nonetheless, I think some disambiguation is in order. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.95.43.253 (talk) 01:02, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
