Citations on this article have been met, I believe there is enough substantial evidence provided here to prove the credibility of this person. There's an interview with him on WOW247 as cited in the article. You can also see the external links in the article that there's a lot of information regarding his work as legitimate. There are dozens of interviews and press coverage from E3 alongside Grant Kirkhope for IGN, GameSpot, Nintendo Life and Polygon during June 2016; this should be more than enough to establish notability.
