This needs a lot of work; it skips from copy boy in the 1950s to a single incident in the 2000s and seems more of a vehicle for the DuMond inciednt than a true bio. I don't feel I'm the person to do it due to WP:COI as I knew Dunleavy in his tabloid TV years. Grusl (talk) 05:32, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hear, hear. As a casual observer who surfed in, I was amazed that 90% of this article read like an axegrinding exercise against a respected journalist who, I believe, is also a living person. The questionable text seemed to have been copied holus-bolus from the article Wayne DuMond, as evidenced by the fact that the same errors appeared in both versions. The solution seemed quite simple—excise most of the stuff from this article and direct the reader to the source article for the material which is chiefly of relevance to the criminal's life. So that's basically what I have done. I've also added the info that Dunleavy retired in Oct 2008 after 55 years working for newspapers, and had really reached the top of the tree from all accounts. There's much more to be done - Let's hope other editors will now come along and do justice to this! Cheers Bjenks (talk) 15:34, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
