I've removed part of this edit. It would be funny if it were true, but from what I can tell, Google only returns results mirroring this article. It was funny while it lasted (for six years, no less).

Although Young served in the United States Army field artillery during the World War I era, no reliable sources found as of yet state that he served overseas in a war zone during the war.
