Removed instances of obvious subjective language in the online play section. This entire section could use an objective writeup which would accurately detail the lifetime, playerbase, and game modes of online play.

Online Gameplay

I have added two paragraphs focusing around the terrific speed and flexibility of gameplay. This is what truly distinguished JK from other shooters at the time, and even from others today. The text, I believe, is not so subjective as to be an opinion, but is rather the objective recollection of an old gamer. (I played for around 5 years, so I did see the best as they fought.)

I have resisted mentioning anything to do with players on the MSN Gaming Zone as I do not think it would be illuminating.

Perhaps a section to do with the force powers, both as they are advertised and as they were actually used online, would be useful. If anyone is inclined to help, I think there should be more discussion of how the game was actually played, which is surely online. AWBridges 18:28, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Restructuring

I've restructured much of the article, moving Online Play into Gameplay, but differentiating it. I've also moved many of my earlier additions about JK's gameplay into another subset of Gameplay, where I think they most properly belong. I addition, I've added a section on both Force Powers and Weapons. Darth Vader does appear in the reissue of the game

There is an Easter Egg in the Bundled version of the game that does feature Darth Vader, that is, a map that can be unlocked where the character plays Luke Skywalker on Bespin and can fight his way to a showdown against Vader in the Carbon Freeze chamber leading to the leap from the gantry (where he is caught by the Millenium Falcon and the mission ends). This isn't actually the case. The game does feature this level, but Darth Vader isn't in it. The level instead features evil versions of Mara Jade and Kyle Katarn. Someone within the MOTS community did write a mod of the level that replaced these characters with Darth Vader, but this was NOT included on the disc. Cutscenes

From current revision: "The cut scenes filmed for the sequences between levels are the first Star Wars video filmed since Return of the Jedi in 1983.[1]" That was Rebel Assault II, not JK. What the linked article actually says is that "it was the first time new Lightsaber footage had been filmed since Return of the Jedi", and I don't know whether that's true or not. --DocumentN (talk) 18:47, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

I've corrected the info against the source. I'm pretty sure it is true as I remember it being discussed a lot around the time of release. I can't think of any Star Wars game that has actual lightsabre footage before JK. Bill ^{(talk|contribs)} 19:36, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

The current title is how LucasArts writes it on their website, so that looks like the "official" style. Bill ^{(talk|contribs)} 09:31, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Multiplayer characters

I wonder why this game contains multiplayer characters such as Krugon, Veamon, Rugar, Santiago and Mandalor/Boba Fett although they don't appear in the Singleplayer mode of this game. Does anyone know where these characters come from? Big King (talk) 16:53, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Canonical date

The sentence "The story is set one year after the events in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983)." is confusing. First time I read it it seemed to suggest Kyle katarn was shooting baddies in a game set in the early eighties. Although this sounds like fun, clarification is needed.
