Untitled[edit]

The first mention of "Hicks" is "Hicks demanded a reduction in rent from £60 to £45 per annum at midsummer 1850, which he was successful in obtaining"; no previous mention of any "Hicks" is in the article. It goes on later to mention Edward and Charles Hicks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.160.174.188 (talk) 13:15, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2009–2010 restoration[edit]

There was a £200,000 restoration project in 2009–2010 that isn't mentioned in the article.[1][2][3] According to the BBC news, "this is the first time the cap, which houses the sails, has received substantial maintenance", and the Herts and Essex Observer says that the mill "has towered motionless over the village for almost a century". However according to this article the 1984–1985 work "enabled both the cap and sails to turn", which appears to contradict the information from 2009 and later, and I couldn't find older information about its condition and don't have access to the source that is cited - clarification is needed.
