1974 to 1981??[edit]

From the article: 'He then produced the Planet of the Apes TV series from 1974 to 1981.'

But there was only one season -- this obscure short-lived 1974 TV series aired September 13th - December 20th 1974. I am speculating that it might be relevant (or might have seemed relevant to somebody) that ten episodes were re-edited into five makeshift telefilms, and that newly produced framing sequences featuring Roddy McDowall as an older Galen were recorded.
