Deanery of Craven[edit]

The old Deanery of Craven#boundaries was approximately equivalent to the Wapentake of Staincliffe Kildwyke (talk) 22:45, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

@Kildwyke: I was just about to delete this from the article because “old deanery” is unexplained and the information is unsourced, but then I noticed it was mentioned here too. @Northernhenge: I saw this in my watchlist and remembered that I meant to add a source to that many years ago and never got to it. As the source was written 220 years ago, the prose is a little dated, but it provides a clear description of the boundaries of both.TiB chat 17:47, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
