BR class 68

The decision to delete the page on the BR class 68 now seems wrong, since the locomotives are under construction. this leaves the new 68s as the only major UK class of locomotive without their own wiki page.

Proposed split - British Rail Class 68

There seems to be sufficient information from reliable sources to split off a new article British Rail Class 68 (currently redirects here). It is the only UK diesel locomotive class without a separate page. Zombie Aardvark (talk) 04:40, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

I agree, the deletion was at a point when there was substantial information about this forthcoming class of locomotive and I opposed it. All BR (sensu lato) locomotives have a specific entry in wiki and this new, unique and interesting class needs an entry. I too agree and did make representations against the loss of the class 68 page. This is now almost a class in traffic, an important development and should have, like all major UK locomotives, a specific page.
