Are any of the "notable alumni" n WP?" that's usually what we look for.DGG 03:40, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stop deleting the edits[edit]

whoever is deleting the edits is commiting vandalism. All facts that are written are true and confirmed with the school. To whoever keeps deleting over and over again, STOP NOW!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.170.221.18 (talk) 11:42, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The information you add to this page are unreferenced, also it is a policy of Wikipedia WP:Peacock claims to be avoided and can be challenged and removed at any time, especially if thwy are not referenced. The informaation you're adding about children of known people ar also unacceptable. If you look at your talk page you'll find a warning and ways to avoid your Conflict of Interest since you're obviously making these edits from within the St. Lawrence school campus a simple Whois of your ip address gives us that information. I strongly advise you to take a look at WP:Policies and guidelines. Thanks--Sadbuttrue92 (talk) 17:08, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

all other schools include notable pupils. and not only that, i personally am at st. lawrence college and i get the information straight from the school. the information i mentioned is recorded and can be confirmed by the school.

also, you deleted information that was there before i edited.--User:213.170.221.18

The information I deleted were deleted for a reason which I gave repeatedly (WP:Peacock claims, WP:Unreferenced material). Also it is unacceptable in Wikipedia to delete comments made on an article's talk page the way you did with your previous edit (WP:Talk_page_guidelines). I would appreciate it if you took my advise and read the WP:policies and guidelines.--Sadbuttrue92 (talk) 19:10, 5 February 2009 (UTC).[reply]

If you ever delete my edits again, i will delete everything on this page, the reason being that it is incomplete without the information i edited and gives an incomplete and false image about the school. Just let it go, you dont have to obsess over this page, get a life. Everything i edited is correct and if you want references you can check with the school itself.

The information that I removed from the article were removed per WP:Policies and guidelines. You need to provide some sources (printed or online) that enable other editors to verify that what you assert is true. "Checking with the school itself" is not a source. The school's homepage can, up to a limit, be a source, but remember that it would not be an independent source, so it would be good if you could find some third party sources, too. Finally, as you are attending this school yourself, you have a conflict of interest. Wikipedia strongly discourages editors to work on articles with which they have such a COI, because it is very difficult in that case to maintain a neutral point of view. Finally, you should try to moderate your responses to other editors and not make any personal attacks. This is something (together with unjustified reversions) that could get you blocked from editing WP. (large part of this message comes from your talk page).--Sadbuttrue92 (talk) 22:27, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not Notable[edit]

I also asked a crat at the Greek wiki if he thought it was notable and he said it was not; even though they may have different criteria for notability or a different perspective, still the school is not notable, as there is not any source available about the school out there; and it is not present in the Greek wiki. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stultiwikia (talkcontribs) 11:09, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
