Quoting a book several times[edit]

Hi Emendment, good work! When you quote a book several times, it's best to use the shortened footnote template {{sfn}} citation style. With each individual entry, it's important to record the particular page number(s) that you refer to. For example, if the current footnote number 3 would refer to pages 12 to 15 in the Fearnley book, you'd format the reference like this (where "1977" is the year of publication): {{sfn|Fearnley|1977|pp=12–15}} Quoting a single page (say page 128) would be done with a single "p" in the code: {{sfn|Fearnley|1977|p=128}} I'll reformat the book reference itself and once that's done, this referencing system will create hyperlinks from the individual footnotes that link to the book reference. Any queries, please ask. Schwede66 05:46, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
