Mitchell Report[edit]

"Clemens's splitter, one of the tougher pitches in the history of baseball, has been a key reason for his continued success into his early forties"

Post-Mitchell, can it perhaps be argued that something else besides a split fastball is a key reason for Clemen's "continued success"?

The splitter was an important part of Clemens' success. That doesn't mean it was the only factor. --Jprg1966 (talk) 19:32, 29 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This article could definitely use some. In a little while I will start by adding material from Neyer/James's Guide to Pitchers. --Jprg1966 (talk) 19:32, 29 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
