The San Francisco club where the band broke up was not the DNA Lounge. Al Jourgensen's recollection in his autobiography was not correct. DNA did not exist until 1985. The gig was actually at the I-Beam on Haight Street in 1981. I have personal knowledge of this, but cannot cite a source to verify the fact. BandyRooster (talk) 08:35, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yup. See below.71.236.206.225 (talk) 15:49, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Temporal displacement problems prove BandyRooster correct.[edit]

The DNA Lounge (as you can see at the DNA Lounge page here) was not the DNA lounge until 1985. In 1981 it was a brand new gay leather bar named Chaps, and not the DNA Lounge yet.

Since the venue didn't exist yet when the band already stopped being a thing (according to the dates here) it doesn't make sense that a band could have an altercation on its stage. 71.236.206.225 (talk) 15:49, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
