Disputed Spumco projects[edit]

There are a few things here that are mentioned as Spumco related that aren't. Such as the rolling Stones video made BEFORE spumco was founded, as well as the latest Weird Al and Tenacious D vids. I'm going to remove them as they are NOT Spumco productions, merely works of John K. himself. --Thaddius 15:41, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New and improved Spumco Wiki[edit]

I've re-edited almost the entire portion of the Spumco article, and I am still missing some sections (Return to television). I will need help with this, and my goal is to try and make it a Good article. Artystyk386 (talk) 03:10, 29 March 2010 (UTC) Talk:Spümcø/Archive 1/GA1[reply]

Major copy edit April 2010[edit]

Following a request at the Guild of Copy Editors, I have just completed a full copy edit of this article. Here are some issues that are still to be resolved:

  • There are too may repeated wikilinks. I know that this is going for GA and not FA, but it is good to have things ready to FA standards. For FA, wikilinks should only be made at the first mention, and not throughout. This is the job of someone who works with {{wikify}} and not copy edit. (Actually, more like un-wikify. So, it would be good if someone can check through the links to get it up to standard.
  • From the GAR: "The idea of cartoons created by cartoonists would not happen again for some 25 years until Spümcø was founded and would eventually make history as the first animation studio of its kind." -- No idea what you're trying to say here. "Cartoons created by cartoonists"? Who else would be making them? - I agree with this. "cartoonists" needs to be better defined. Is it supposed to mean traditional storyboard cartoonists (as opposed to digital script cartoonists)?

Other than these minor issues, my full copy edit is now complete. If my help is needed please let me know on my talk page. Cheers. -- S Masters (talk) 06:46, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Staff Image[edit]

During the In The Beginning featurette, an image of the Spümcø staff is shown. I've made a screengrab of that image and I've uploaded it at imgur and postimage.org. Maybe it's small enough to be added to the article as fair use to give an impression of what the bunch was like. --82.171.70.54 (talk) 00:29, 11 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Established in 1988 or 1989?[edit]

The article itself says the company was first established in 1988, but it's been added to multiple categories saying the company was established in 1989. Which is it? Maximajorian Viridio (talk) 01:28, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
