Is Good Day Sunshine a cover of The Beatles' song? If so it has its own page. Rigadoun 15:25, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it is, but hell, I've been wrong before. Could be. Ric 16:48, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I suspect that it's merely a song of the same title; if it shares anything with the Beatles song, it's not musically-evident. I understand, though: you just can't DO that with Beatles songs (an egregious example: Radiohead's "Paperbag Writer," a Hail To The Thief B-Side). Phylhrmnix 13:19 7 July 2006 (EST)
i don't think that radiohead song has anything to do with the beatles song other than a similar, but NOT the same, title (paperbag vs paperback). i'm sure the title is an allusion to the beatles' tune, but other than that, i don't get why you cited it here. 173.88.39.113 (talk) 07:12, 15 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Album Art?[edit]

Hello, Are there two versions of album art for this release? I've seen two: this one http://cdn.pitchfork.com/albums/7670/homepage_large.1830bcb9.jpg and this one https://i.ytimg.com/vi/2ZJrC8X91io/maxresdefault.jpg which seems to be a color version. Anyone know that the difference is? --Semitones (talk) 22:59, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, there is! but the original cover art is the coloured version. The greyscale version is of the US pressing - the cover art was edited without the band's permission, and it was not sold until a year after the album's original release. All US pressings use the greyscale artwork, while all other pressings everywhere else uses the original, coloured variant. --Kettleonwater (talk) 02:15, 14 December 2018 (GMT)
