This river exists. I'm getting tired of the apparent belief on Wikipedia that the forks of a river are the same as the mainstem - that's the only reason I got to create this article. Shannon1 ^talk ^contribs 01:48, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So why is it high importance for WP:CA? It is one of the largest anadromous fish rivers in the state and without the South Fork the lower Trinity River would be a warm trickle of agricultural return flows. Shannon1 ^talk ^contribs 05:03, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

 Some of the geologic description seems inaccurate, there are several "south forks" of geologic note-maybe got mixed up?  Google geo. descriptions by Irwin, W.P. et al. for
