"Esther was conceived using an embryo she had frozen" The embryo was already conceived when it was frozen - or, she had an egg frozen, which was then "conceived" more recently. It should be clarified which.

I'm not the best source but her birth date was listed as 1966 during her debut in 1992 and again with her second album in 1994. (I'm old enough to remember her debut! ;-) ) I've only started seeing 1967 within the past few years. We're trying to find a reliable source for November 1. Wikipedia is, of course, not a reliable source for anything. We also can't really say that you searched for it, found multiple sources and have never seen another date. What we need is a published source (not a Wiki, not a fan site, not one of those "Born on this day..." lists) that says what her birth date is. Common sources for such things are the artist's official site, well-established newspapers and magazines, etc. Until someone finds one, we're stuck with what we have. - SummerPhD (talk) 13:22, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I heard a while back that she was a lezbo. Anyone know?

Definitely bisexual. There are many sources to confirm this, not least of all the documentary The Cream Will Rise. Also, if you believe her lyrics to be autobiographical, a great example is "Your Tongue Like the Sun in My Mouth",[16] detailing sexual encounters with a man and a woman. She gave an interview years ago that she considered herself an "omnisexual". She was definitely involved with Gigi Gaston (the director of Cream Will Rise). Album to be released[edit]

Bisexual claim[edit]

I have removed the bisexual claim. The source cited (archived here) does not have Hawkins calling herself bisexual. Rather, the review refers to "another bisexual talent: Janis Joplin."
