this is what graphics card i dont know

NVIDIA GT 330M. AFAICT, only the NVIDIA chipset drives the external HDMI socket. This is a very slight shame, since the fan runs silently with the Intel chipset. Toby Douglass (talk) 20:04, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"problems" section unfair and poorly cited[edit]

I don't think it's fair to write a problems section that really only cites one forum thread. You can probably find a problem with any consumer product and cite a thread. It's not a scholarly/credible enough source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.111.186.42 (talk) 04:38, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

citation seems ok to me[edit]

I assume you mean the "Original PCG-Z" section. (The VPC-Z problems section currently has NO citation, which IS a problem.)

Fair? I had 2 early Vaio Zs that developed this problem (and another series). With 105 pages on that forum link alone I would suggest that this citation indicates and supports a statement of fact.

If anything I'm surprised more problems aren't listed. Later Vaio Zs have great heat/fan problems (yes I have them too). Great machines but perhaps a little too leading edge/beta machines.

Another problem is the lack of long term (e.g. driver) support. 2 year old vgn-z machines can not be upgraded to windows 8 for example (not officially supported).

The biggest problem for me, and worthy of a mention for such high-end machines, is the slipping standard of Sony Service. Heise.de do a customer satisfaction survey every year if someone can find it ... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.78.64.195 (talk) 05:59, 17 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism?[edit]

This is such a spectacularly poorly-written article, I can't tell if it's just pure unfixed vandalism or not. I myself haven't got the knowledge to rewrite it from scratch, but would highly recommend a brutal edit to anyone who feels inclined. 85.235.1.129 (talk) 08:46, 5 June 2012 (UTC) I'm not a big editor, mainly just a talk page whiner, but given how quiet this article is, I might just do that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.111.186.42 (talk) 20:43, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
