Under categories, shouldn't this have Native American actors and male porn stars!?

What does this mean?[edit]

I came here because of a comment on this site: http://www.moviemistakes.com/film1007/trivia namely: "Fox's insurance company wouldn't allow Sonny Landham to be in the film unless he was accompanied at all times by a bodyguard, not to protect him but to protect the other members of the cast and crew from him."

What does this mean exactly? Is/was Sonny Landham 'dangerous' even compared to some of the other people in Predator? Had he done something around that time to worry people? WikiReaderer 20:43, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is confirmed by director John McTiernan in the "Making of Predator" on the DVD, though he does not disclose why the insurance company insisted on that provision.--Cancun771 (talk) 16:00, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
(Not sure why this didn't save, so I'll try it again.) IMDB says: "the insurance company insisted on a round-the-clock bodyguard for Landham, not to protect the actor, but to protect everyone else from the actor (who was prone to bar fights, etc.)." ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093773/trivia ) Not sure what the "etc." would be! 58.174.242.29 (talk) 16:49, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any additional sources for him currently attending the University of Kentucky? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.187.233.202 (talk) 16:43, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Court Case and Imprisonment[edit]

Ive read there was a case brought against Sonny Landham around 1998, apparently he was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment for various offences against his then wife, why isn't it mentioned on his page?--The Mercenary 73 (talk) 17:11, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Loss of legs[edit]

Is it possible to get a more reliable source for the loss of his legs? I think a GoFundMe page doesn't count as WP:RS. I see there is also a youtube video showing him in a wheelchair, but a more traditional news source would be preferred. The GoFundMe page says he lost his legs in a car accident, but another source is more vague and just says 'for health reasons'. It would be good to clarify this too. Did not run in the primary[edit]

The current version of the article states that he ran in the 2003 Republican primary for the Kentucky Governor's position. This appears not to be true. USAelectionatlas.org and other sources indicate that there were only four candidates for that primary: Ernie Fletcher, Rebecca Jackson, Steve Nunn, and Virgil Moore. Landham made some statements about running but did not ultimately take part in the primary. Ordinary Person (talk) 06:35, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
